TOUR TO UROS AMANTANI TAQUILE 2 DAYS

Day 01: Puno - Uros - Amantani

This day we will depart from Puno Port at 7:40 AM. After 30 minutes, we will arrive to Uros where our tour guide explain us everyhing about "Uros" by 1:30 hours.
Then, We will continue to travel in the same boat to Amantani island, where we will have a beautifull welcome by the local people.
The overnight will be in a family home where we will eat the typical food that they cook with the aliments that they produce on the islands.
At the afternoon we will have a trek to the temple Pachatata or Pachamama. At night the family willgive us a special welcome reception to new visitors with a local folk music.
* Meals are prepared based on local produce (potatoes, quinoa, potato flour, fish, eggs).

Day 02: Taquile - Puno.

At 8:00 am, we will have the breakfast with the local family. Then, we will continue in the same boat to Taquile, we will walk by 01 hour to visit the town, handy craft center and the museum of Taquile.
We will have lunch at a local restaurant, down on the opposite side of the island (Down 530 steps).
We will come back to Puno Port in the same boat. Then we will go to clients hotel. End of our services.

Feasting at Lima's Mistura Festival

The 4th annual International Culinary Fair of Lima, Mistura 2011, is taking place right now at Parque de la Exposición in the center of Lima as foodies from around the world gather for good times and good food. The event will be continuing through to the 18th. Throughout the year Peru has been combed for vendors and chefs of quality and there are more than 1800 products available at the market. One of the big themes of this year's event is "fruits of the Amazon", although you'll find products native to all regions of the country.

Looking for a Miracle from the Lord of Huanca

Sacred Mt Pachatusan, whose name is quechua for "He Who Sustains the Earth", has the honor of being a preferred site for traditional pre-Columbian rites- such as offerings to the Apu (Mountain Deity) or Pachamama (Earth Mother), purifications, and Ayahuasca ceremonies- as well as the site of one of Peru's largest pilgrimages, the Lord of Huanca.

Sanctuary Garden to Machu Picchu: Off the Beaten Path with Pirwa Travel
