The INTI RAYMI or Fiesta del Sol attracts every your thousands of visitors from all over the world to be part of the festivities on 24 Juno and around theses days. The origin of this feast lies in a religious ceremony of the Incas in honor of the god Inti. This day also marked the winter solstice and the beginning of a new year in the Andes of the Southern Hemisphere. During this days there is a lot going on in and around Cusco.
The Plaza de Armas will be one of the show places.
